A new documentary about cycling

Waterbyrd Filmz is producing a new documentary called Holding the Wheel, a light-hearted "ethnographic" documentary about the world of non-professsional, recreational cyclists.

During the week, they are white-collar professionals with responsible jobs, families and mortgages; but on weekends they transform into lycra clad super heroes. Road warriors on expensive custom-made, carbon framed bikes who travel in packs and compete with other males for dominance in the group. This thoughtful and often hilarious documentary meets this new breed of male in his natural habitat and uncovers the reasons that compel him to take to the road and to devote so much time, money and energy to cycling.

On the frontline of health

Waterbyrd Filmz has begun production on a new four part television series called Healthfront, which will follow a diverse range of allied healthcare professionals from across Australia.

Viewers will be taken behind the scenes of some of the nation’s most demanding jobs. These health pros never know what each day will bring and must deal with whatever challenging situation comes their way.
